Email Connection Options

When setting up your account, you have two options for managing guest communication through email:

1. Create a New Email Address with Your Domain

Create a dedicated email address (e.g., [email protected]) using your domain. This approach ensures a professional presence and separates guest communications from your personal or general inbox.

2. Connect an Existing Email Address with your Domain

If you already have a designated email account for guest communication (e.g., a Gmail or Outlook address), you can connect it directly to our platform. This allows us to manage your guest messages without needing to switch accounts.


Email Filtering and Routing Rules

To keep your inbox focused and efficient:

  • OTA Notifications (Except Airbnb & VRBO):
    All booking notifications and communication from OTAs other than Airbnb and VRBO (such as Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) should be routed to this connected email account. (Unless your Property Management System is directly connected with our platform)

  • Exclude Non-Guest-Related Emails:
    Unsubscribe from any non-essential emails such as:

    • Marketing materials

    • Platform newsletters

    • Payment/payout summaries

  • Exclude Non-Actionable Booking Emails:
    Some OTAs send confirmation emails that only indicate a booking has been made, without any messages from the guest or action items required. These will also be filtered out they don’t clutter our inbox.
