What is prorated billing?

Prorated billing ensures fair charges for partial use within a billing period.

You’re only billed for the portion of the cycle during which additional units are active. For instance, if you add a unit halfway through a 30-day cycle, you’re charged for 15 days.

This keeps costs aligned with actual usage, avoiding full-cycle fees for late additions.

Example: Add a unit on Day 10 of a 30-day cycle → pay for 20 days of coverage.

*If you remove a unit mid-cycle, no refunds are issued for the unused portion of the period.
